We're currently scheduled to finish mid-August. Walls were painted last week by the wonderfully handsome Matt Dec. Cabinets started going in today.

I just love that new cabinet smell.
Argh I hate macs. I just somehow deleted all my typing with a slip of one finger. Anyway, our last kitchen was close to this color if I remember correctly. Kind of a sky/robin's egg blue. If you want a color that makes you happy when you see it, I recommend it. It's like Prozac in latex form.
Also, I forgot to offer you guys my tile saw. Many kitchen projects require one and if you need one, you can use mine. It's fun and it spits little pieces of tile all over the place at incredible velocities!
Love the colors, style, and cabinets...wow!! Keep the pics coming. I do miss the metal sink....NOT!
Thanks, John! We're doing the New Parent style of remodeling: paying someone to do all the work.
Beautiful! Can't wait to see what it looks like when all work is complete.
JJ - the wall color comes from, I kid you not, a washcloth from a kid towel set of Erin's. It's in the shape of an elephant. We have the color upstairs in our bathroom too.
Uh, so, when can I take a sledgehammer to this one?
Oh, I should mention the kitchen is lovely, it's just that destruction is so much fun!
WOW! Beautiful! I barely recognize it!
It looks amazing. Congrats on the progress.
