Erin tried sushi tonight.
All her rolls ended up on the floor.
We'll try again another time.

Pretty much sums up my opinion of sushi also...

On Thursday Amelia was interested in my sushi for the first time, so I gave her some. She wolfed it (and another six maki rolls -- I figured salmon was pretty safe) right down. I think she was caught up in the novelty of the whole "conveyor belt of rotating food" thing. Then again, so was I.
Because she wasn't interested in eating them or because she thought they were toys?
I'm pretty sure she thought they were gross.
And, I'm sorry Hawthorne, and I'm sorry kind, old Japanese man who prepared it, but Erin has good instincts: Toney Bento's sushi no es bueno.
Better than my reaction to my first* taste of sushi...nearly vomiting. I should have thrown the roll on the floor instead.

Has she tried miso + rice? That's a pretty popular option.
