Close-up

To observe:
* Remnants of her first shiner - given to her by another kiddo at school. On accident, for sure.
* Crusty nose.  Tail end of a cold, first one in several months.
* Red eyes from rubbing - dinnertime is precariously close to bath/bed time.
* Slightly raised left eyebrow.  Poor thing is destined to become a Treckie.  Sorry, Trekkie.
* Tinges of green in those irises(?)
* Bemused, perhaps self-assured countenance.

The face of a 300 day-old woman, her mien is of one unafraid to face challenge.

Our Lu is always getting injured or injuring herself. I don't know how she hasn't had a shiner yet. She doesn't have much fear. My how #1 and #2 differ...

And I see intelligence in those eyes!!! It's like she's seeing beyond her 300 days....

Drat! That's how I had it at first, then I changed it.
Obviously she won't get the Trekkie trait from Mom.
