Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was busy, but very exciting. It was a holiday of firsts - first time Erin was properly introduced to the concept of Santa Clause. First time we woke on Christmas morning in our own beds, in our own house. First time we didn't have to travel 500+ miles (although the amount we drove exceeded that to be sure). First time in untold years that the Miller side of the family all celebrated together. All in all it was wonderful, bountiful holiday with great food, fun presents, and lots of family time.
And there were pictures:

And there was more video than decency allows us to inflict on our dear readers. So here is one, unedited, highlighting two of Erin's favorite toys Santa brought: a kitchen and a baby doll. Not that he intended these to be played with together in such fashion.

There's no better way to spend the holidays. Merry Christmas! And Happy New Year!

Miss E.B. has some good instincts, removing baby from the cold to a warmer place. Just needs to work out the kinks a bit before her lil' sister arrives.

I've heard of refrigerator moms, but refrigerator babies are a new one. Happy Holidays. We miss you.

Are we sure she is not demonstrating some futuristic, fully integrated, kitchen/childcare system? Perhaps Miss E. B. will grow up to be an architect/engineer and make good on the whole Jetsons "house of tomorrow" thing!

That is quite the kitchen! Props Brian!
Now about that baby... if Erin's new little sister ever suddenly stops crying, maybe you should check the fridge!
Looks like it was a great time and that lil miss had a wonderful Christmas! One more thing: are the carrots for santa because he is fat and needs to lose weight?

I asked the same thing Christina!! apparently the carrots are for the reindeer.
