The Great Outdoors

Last week McMillerPDX went traveling.  Here is the first story:Erin got her first taste of camping at Lovers Leap, just West of South Lake Tahoe.  She had a blast.  She got to spend all day outside (well slathered with sunscreen), watch lots of rock climbing, play with Nico the Super Pup, and skip baths.  She got to stay up late and wake up early, and eat many new foods including dirt. Many thanks to the excellent planning and organization of Uncle G and Aunt D, making this a memorable first camping trip.  One of many, no doubt.

That is one happy looking kid... Of course, everyone is happy when they get their first taste of sweet, delicious dirt.

A little animal ate my backpack last year at Lover's Leap! Glad to know I'll have a new climbing partner in a few years.

What makes the child
happy is the freedom to
explore and experience
life to the fullest!
